Virtual Top-Up Transfer Degree
For ASEAN universities
Virtual top-up degree scholarship programme for Myanmar students who are affected by recent issues in university education to continue their degrees at ASEAN-based universities.
- Allocating approximately 4 semesters per student
- 872 semesters for ASEAN virtual scholarships across all ASEAN Higher Education Institutions.
- Students will be supported with financial aid per semester (a total of EUR 350 per semester for the ASEAN Virtual Top-Up Scholarships).
- Allocating approximately 4 semesters per student.

For EU universities
Virtual top-up degree scholarship programme for Myanmar students who are affected by recent issues in university education to continue their degrees at EU-based universities.
- Allocating 4 semesters per student.
- 283 semesters for EU virtual scholarship across all higher education institutions.
- Students will be supported with financial aid per semester (a total of EUR 650 per semester for the EU Virtual Top-Up Scholarships).
Virtual Global Opportunities (Micro-Credentials & Internships)
For both ASEAN and EU institutions
Short-term virtual micro-credentials to develop competencies across disciplines in various settings, including work readiness, upgrading skills, and transitioning workers, for Myanmar young professionals.
- Each opportunity will last up to 15 weeks per student.
- 250 semesters for virtual global opportunities scholarship across all EU and ASEAN higher education institutions.
- Students will be supported with financial aid per semester (total of EUR 300/ semester for EU and ASEAN Virtual Global Opportunities Scholarships), and universities will be asked to waive tuition fees due to the humanitarian aspect of the programme.
